Felja"Felja" 2001 black varnish roan semi-leopard Friesian/Appaloosa cross mare 15.2 hh (Goffert 369 x Wap Spotchen) (sire & dam researchable on allbreedpedigree.com) "Felja" is a very unique and eye-catching individual. She is refined mare who looks more like a Friesian conformationally yet has the distinctive spotting of an Appaloosa. She also moves much more like a Friesian than an Appaloosa, making her extra alluring for dressage fanatics who want something stunning and sure to draw attention. Felja could potentially be approved for the American Warmblood society as a broodmare for a colored sporthorse program. She certainly possesses the movement and conformation to attract attention of approvers despite her less-than-common breeding. Felja is a half-sibling to another mare offered for sale on this board, XANADA, a 1998 Friesian/Paint cross mare. Look at her sale thread to see what Felja may mature into. Her sire, GOFFERT 369, is an FEI Grand Prix dressage Friesian stallion. He is a son of the preferent Friesian stallion, REITSE. Both are light of build which is reflected in the elegance and refinement of Felja. Her dam, WAP SPOTCHEN, is a 1998 daughter of WAP SPOTTED, the founding stallion of the Appaloosa Sport Horse Association. He is widely regarded as the 'standard' against which to measure future generations of Appaloosa sporthorses. FOALS: None SHOW RECORD: None More informationNo page, sorry.
