"Alice" is a homebred filly from our proven sire, BEY OF TUNIS, who has already produced multiple GI stakes winners so far in SIM. BEY OF TUNIS is sired by GONE WEST, one of the best known stud sons of MR. PROSPECTOR who is known for producing stakes winners and is especially renowned as a broodmare sire. His dam, PRIMAL FORCE, is the only mare to foal two separate Breeders Cup winners and was named broodmare of the year for 2000.
Alice's dam is our broodmare, FAIRE SANDSONG, who is out of solid winner- & black-type winner-producing lines. Both her sire- and dam-lines have produced an incredibly high percentage of winners. Alice has become one of the most proven producers at Momentum, Ltd., having sired the highest number of GI runners/winners of all our broodmares thus far.
Alice has no showrecord prior to her 4 year old career because she was not bred until 2006 RL. It is assumed that her records are 'lost', as it's not her fault she wasn't raced! We wanted to get some older racers (and future broods) in our racing string, and thus Alice was bred.
Alice is offered for sale only because we own her more successful half-sister through her dam (a GI winner against Alice, 1 year younger than Alice) and her 2004 full sister. We also own several half-brothers & -sisters through her sire, so we wanted to disperse some of these bloodlines throughout HF.
UPDATE 5/31/06: Alice will continue to race until sold. She is of an age in which many of her peers have been retired, and yet she has seemingly hit her best stride. She still hasn't placed in the money, but she runs consistantly mid-field just behind the money-earners at the GI level on dirt. She has run on turf but does not like it much, so we highly recommend sticking to dirt surfaces if you continue to race her. She could also be retired to brood; she has proven her ability to stay with some of the top GI racers, so if bred to the right stallions (and assuming she is even half the broodmare her dam is), she should produce some outstanding offspring.

*Alice IS currently registered in HORSES FOREVER, so her new owner will simply have to transfer ownership. She is only available to HF members at this time, though.
